The Four Step Approach

Our Employment Specialists assist clients using the following approach

Needs Assessment
  • Employment Specialists assess client's needs based on initial client/Specialist meetings to determine direction and focus.
Action Planning
  • An action plan is developed out of the needs assessment and is designed to lay out realistic plans for gaining employment and/or educational development.
Referrals
  • Employment Specialists often refer clients to a variety of internal and/or community resources aimed at increasing the client's opportunities for employment
Supports
  • Employment Centre Specialists offer a variety of supports to the client, such as Labour Market Information, job leads and coaching.
